Nipotina
Tucked into a corner of South Audley Street, Nipotina arrived in Mayfair in November 2024, joining the LSL Capital repertoire. It brings with it the warmth of a true Italian ristorante—one that feels like a Sunday at nonna’s table. Named after the Italian word for ‘granddaughter,’ Nipotina is a love letter to tradition, where seasonal ingredients, time-honoured recipes, and a good dose of Italian soul come together.

Imagined as a home away from home, here the elegance of a contemporary Italian residence meets the warmth of a neighbourhood ristorante. A space designed for comforting breakfasts, unhurried lunches, enjoyable aperitivo hours, candlelit suppers, and late cocktails, the interiors exude effortless charm—soft- hued walls, handmade tiles, walnut timber accents, and curated art that feels like it’s been collected over generations. Mid-century glass lighting and verdant plants breathe life into every corner, echoing the slow, sun-drenched afternoons of the Italian countryside. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light, leading to a sun-kissed terrace that spills out onto Mayfair’s bustling streets.

At Nipotina, every dish tells a story—a whisper of nonna’s kitchen, a memory of sunlit mornings in Puglia, a recipe passed down through generations and reimagined with flair. Under the artistry of Turin-born chef Somaia Hammad, hand rolled pasta, wood-fired seafood and meats, crisp Northern Italian pizzas, pickles and preserves and freshly baked breads become the soul of Nipotina’s menu. From breakfast through to aperitivo, late suppers, and cocktails, each meal is a nostalgic journey brought to life.
The all-Italian wine list, curated by Luca Dusi of Passione Vino, flows freely—by the glass, by the carafe, in true Italian spirit. Because at Nipotina, the best memories are made around the table, surrounded by good food, great company, and a generous pour of something special. Come by anytime.
A presto!
